I have photographed hundreds of weddings over the years and experience is key in delivering an exceptional product time after time after time. Here are a few things that I use as guiding principles to make sure every client enjoys not only their awesome photographs, but the process as well.
Prepare – Before I get to your wedding, I make sure both the couple and I know exactly what to expect. Organization frees the mind to center on creativity.
Anticipate – while every wedding is unique and spontenaity abounds, there are many things that experience allows me to expect and prepare for throughout the day.
Observe – you simply cannot capture the day properly with distractions. Weddings are no time to socialize with other vendors or check your Facebook. I’m all business.
Positive Attitude – There is no time for negativity and stressing on a wedding day. It is essential that I keep the mood cheerful and light. It works!
Gentle Guidance – Sure there are times during the day when I’m going to be in charge and orchestrating, and I have a commanding presence if needed, but weddings are no place for bossy divas so gentle guidance is my style.
Work Hard – I do not stop.
